This is a rare, documented Bill Blass 4 piece ensemble from 1985. This gorgeous outfit is absolutely incredible in person and would make the perfect evening dress alternative outfit for any special evening!
The set includes a long silk coat, matching scarf, high waisted trousers and a black wool crepe top.
The scarf, coat and pants are in a luxurious black, brown and green oversized floral print silk brocade fabric. The long sleeve black top is in a wool crepe. We have shown the scarf worn in a variety of ways but Iman wore the outfit in a different colorway on the runway and used the sash as a belt.
This outstanding outfit came from an estate we were very fortunate to acquire, of a 93 year old former California female judge. Her wardrobe included mostly designer pieces and interesting dresses and jackets in gorgeous metallics, brocades, jacquards, and pieces with intricate beading and embroidery. She had impeccable taste and we were so honored to be able to acquire her wardrobe.
